Pennsylvania artist, Martha Murphy, welcomes you to Waking Bear Studio! Waking Bear has undergone some major changes throughout this last year or so. Most significantly is the closing of the storefront in Ligonier, Pennsylvania. Martha’s increased work load with consignments and teaching sadly did not allow for the storefront to continue. 
The items produced by Waking Bear Studio are sold in about a dozen galleries in the United States. In addition to the pottery and metalwork being sold in these galleries, Martha’s watercolors are also used to produce needlepoint canvases by a company located in California. These needlepoint canvases are sold in many shops from coast to coast.
